Your Best Disney Video

Friday July 18, 2008
Disney World photo giant Mickey hat A new Disney Parks Channel on YouTube kicks off with a contest: the winner of the "My Favorite Disney Parks Memory Contest" will win a Disney dream vacation, including a night in the Disneyland Dream Suite.

To enter, just submit a video (up to one minute long) of a favorite Disney memory: it could be actual footage of a vacation, or even a re-enactment or any kind of "creative expression" of your memory of a Disney Park, or Disney Cruise Line, or Adventures by Disney... Ten finalists will by chosen (by Disney), and all will get an annual pass to a Disney Park; then, YouTube viewers will vote on the Grand Prize Winner.

Enter by August 5 2008; vote on the finalists until Sept. 9. To find out more, head to www.youtube.com/disneyparks.

Ho, Ho, Ho, Book Now...

Tuesday July 15, 2008

For example: if you want to ride the Polar Express on the Grand Canyon Railway, you should secure your seat now -- and this advice probably holds true for other Polar Express train rides, as well. (These train rides recreate the experience of the classic children's book.)

Likewise, if your kids want to party at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party -- a popular event at Disney World -- tickets are already on sale, with the first Party starting up November 10th.
