Smugglers' Notch (aka "Smuggs") is an award-winning family resort near Burlington, Vermont, in the New England countryside. Nearest cities are Montreal and Ottawa in Canada, Boston Massachusetts, and NYC.
Smugglers' Notch is best known for family snow holidays but is also open summer and fall. Smuggs has won many accolades as a top family resort, and dares to promise: "the most fun your children will ever have - we guarantee it."
Accommodation is in condominium units. An on-demand Resort Shuttle takes you where you want to go.

Smuggs has so many activities and programs, it's hard to keep track. Smuggs is known for its nursery and many kids programs for different age groups, including two teen centers. Kids programs have active and creative options: for example, budding actors will like "Sound & Stage" in the 7-10 and 11-15 kids' camps.
Note that Treasures child-care center-- for ages 6 weeks to 3 years--has an extra charge.
Smuggs also has myriad activities - for families, adults, teens -- outside the kids' programs.
Activities
In addition to the pool fun and kids programs, Smuggs lays on many fun activities on different days, such as Welcome Party, family magic show, Vermont Country Market, marionettes, Family NightSpiker® Volleyball, Family Games, Splash Party, family dance, Teen Twilight Karaoke, bingo, movies, sing-along bonfires, and more.
The Skateboard Park is another feature: for bikes, skates, and skateboards; for beginner and intermediates and a few tricks for experts, too. Instruction, 3-day camp for 10-17 year olds; adult program; rentals and safety equipment.
Via Ferrata: adventure sport for the family (ages as young as ten can try); a hike with sections where hikers use cables, ladders and suspensions , in the rocky and wooded terrains of the area
FunZone Family Entertainment Center: indoor attractions for all ages, including kids' climbing wall, climbing and bouncy inflatables such as a giant slide and obstacle course, miniature golf, arcade games.
Family Ties afternoon family activities: self-guided tours and suggestions for fun; at the FunMeister's Clubhouse.
There's also minigolf, disc golf, canoeing, kayaking, hiking in the Green Mountains, geocaching, llama treks... Parents will find art courses, massages, driving range, nearby golf course.
