After June 30, 2012 this resort operates as the all inclusive Sunscape Curacao Resort. Reviews have been mostly favorable, and renovations are going on... Hopefully the resort will continue to be a good choice for families seeking a getaway at a good price point, and certainly it has a great location.

First, this resort is on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao, a 2-1/2 hour flight from Miami,(and out of the hurricane zone).

Secondly, the resort has an excellent spot on the island, with a sheltered beach, and snorkeling available right off-shore.

The location is also a 15-minute ride from the colorful historic town of Willemstad, which is a UN World Heritage site. (Picture an Amsterdam canal street painted with your kids' pastel crayons.) - continue to Coconut Bay Resort, St. Lucia
