Yellowstone -- is one of the world's greatest National Parks -- is one of those famous destinations you've always heard about that turns out to be even more wonderful than expected.

Yellowstone's 2.2 million acres encompass very different types of terrain and offer unique and unforgettable experiences for visitors. The Park is most famous for its amazing "geothermal features": these include geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and burbling mudholes. Spotting wildlife is another peak experience: visitors will certainly see elk and bison, and may also see moose, bear, or wolves. Also highly recommended: hiking in the scenic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and staying in one of the Park's historic inns.
