If the idea of a country getaway (where someone else cooks the turkey) appeals to you, head to Bedandbreakfast.com, click on Advanced Search; Special Packages; and select from there.

NH: Mount Washington Resort, Bretton Woods
This National Historic Landmark property has a harvest feast plus four days of activities: family turkey-trot, ornament workshop, kids camp, tree-lighting, Storytelling with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, more.

NH: Dana Place Inn, Jackson NH
In the White Mountains, Traditional Thanksgiving Package includes country breakfasts, afternoon tea with hot mulled cider, traditional dinner; dinner by candelight on other evenings; box lunch for day of sightseeing. Dana Place Inn -- built in the 1890's-- has family suites.
