New York City: Thanksgiving 2007 Macy's Parade
New York City is the venue for one the most famous Thanksgiving events, the annual Macy's Parade. Thanksgiving 2007 will be the 81st year for this tradition, started in the 1920's by immigrant employees of Macy's department store who wanted a festival.
