"E" is for "Eurocamp"-- which is "camping" as you've never pictured it before; think, "camping resort", an affordable large property with several options for lodgings, plus lots of recreation, and kids programs, and pools with waterslides...

Eurocamp "camping villages" can be a terrific way to visit France, Italy, or Spain(-- or several northern Europe countries too;. Eurocamp has hundreds of "holiday parcs."

Tents are definitely optional; but you can bring your own tent, and save money; or rent 3 -bedroom "canvas accommodation" that's already set up when you arrive, and equipped with beds, fridge, gas cooker, and electric lights. Or try a "safari tent" built on wooden decking. Another lodging option is "holiday homes", that come in a number of styles, including 3-bedroom units; all have full kitchens.

Typically, kids under 18 are free, kids' club is free, there's free use of toddlers' crib-playpens, swimming pools, soccer clubs... Many activities for toddlers, teens, and other age groups, too.
