The Sundance Independent Film Festival, by the way, (a mainstay for independent film-makers) has never actually been held at Sundance; but Robert Redford has been a prime mover since the Festival's start in 1978, and Sundance is its conceptual home.
The Festival takes place in January in Park City, Utah. Guests staying at Sundance can watch films in the Screening Room or take a complimentary shuttle to the hubbub in Park City.
