Whistler BC - skiing in May

Whistler-Blackcomb BC -- site of the 2010 Olympics-- just hates to say good-bye to ski season. By mid-April, most ski resorts in North America have packed it in. But at Whistler-Blackcomb-- with an awesome mile of vert-- top sections of the mountains stay open even when spring is in full swing down at the base. Blackcomb Mountain typically stays open until mid-May, and Whistler typically continues into June. (Always check for updates, though!)
