The Cheyenne Mountain Resort is in Colorado Springs, about 80 miles from Denver, with 217 acres and beautiful mountain views. There are 316 guest rooms and suites in eight residential lodges, each with private balcony.
Features include a 35-acre recreation lake with watersports and trout fishing; 18 tennis courts; championship golf course; five swimming pools (adult, baby, indoor, outdoor), hiking and biking.
The Cheyenne Mountain Resort - for families:
A summer promotion for families (2005-- check for repeats) lasts May through September, with a price of $129 a family of four.
A Kids Eat Free program: kids 12 and under can eat free with a paying adult; several dining choices; and up to 2 kids can eat free.
A daily summer camp is available for kids 5 to 12, May 29, 2005 to August 20, 2005; $50 full day, $27 for half-day.
The Resort also has: an Aquatics Program, with swimming lessons and lifeguard training; and day care, most days of the week.
