More and more resorts are offering guests their own private water park. Most of these places, in the US, have year-round indoor water parks; and a number of these resorts open a water park outdoors in summer-time. Meanwhile, in hot climates, resorts can have an outside water park year-round.
Arizona Grand Resort
Only fifteen minutes from the Phoenix airport, this resort -- formerly the Pointe South Mountain Resort-- is a magnet for families thanks to The Oasis, its own private 6-acre waterpark. Great golf and hiking, too.
Great Wolf Lodge, Wisconsin Dells
This Great Wolf Lodge -- in Wisconsin Dells, where the indoor water park craze started-- not only has a giant indoor water park and "dry play zone", but in summer season the Thunder Bay outdoor water park adds another 60,000 sq. ft.: giant pool with geysers, spray features; waterslides, kiddie bumper boats, family cabanas with mini-fridge and ceiling fan.
Kalahari Resort Indoor Water Park
Also in Wisconsin Dells: the Kalahari Resort has "America's largest indoor water park", and in summer the Zambezi outdoor water park adds slides, multi-level play zones, and thrill rides with names like Wild Wildebeest. (These water parks are open to the public as well as resort guests.)
Wisconsin Dells Indoor Water Park: Wilderness Resort
The Wilderness Resort has three indoor water parks plus nearly five acres of outdoor water park too.
Jamaica: Rose Hall Resort & Country Club
This resort near Montego Bay Jamaica has its own 110,00 sq.ft waterpark with slides, lazy river ride, and swim-up bar. 1000 feet of beach, and golf course right on-site, as well.
Jamaica: Sunset Beach Resort & Spa
Value-priced all-inclusive 15 minutes from the Montego Bay Airport; Pirate's Paradise Water Park has over an acre of waves and slides.
Jamaica: Beaches Negril Resort & Spa
"Beaches" is the popular family brand of resorts in the Sandals chain. This resort not only as a spot on Negril's famed 7-mile beach, it also has a waterpark, kids programs, infant care, videogame center, and more...
Bahamas: Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island
This legendary mega-resort has acres of "waterscape" with thrill waterslides, waterfalls, lagoons; large kids pool, and kiddie waterplay zone; Atlantis-themed underwater viewing areas; Discovery kids camp; and lots more.
St. Lucia: Coconut Bay Resort & Spa
Value-priced all-inclusive resort in St. Lucia; waterpark has two bodyslides and a lazy river; Cocoland kids club has huge play areas including a water-play zone.
Atlantis The Palm, Dubai
A second Atlantis will rise in Dubai, the middle-east pinnacle of shopping, entertainment, and luxury.
