Inexpensive watercolors are on sale all along the Seine, and-- though the visitor can quickly get tired of seeing these paintings everywhere-- these items can make a very nice reminder of Paris, once you're back home. One of our sons picked a watercolor of his favorite place (the Eiffel Tower) ; once framed, it made a fine souvenir for a ten-year-old.
