Rodin Sculpture Garden- The Thinker

Three jetlagged travelers with the original "Le Penseur" (The Thinker.)
Previous | Next >>

Auguste Rodin was an eminent sculptor, famous during his time, and still famous today for such pieces as The Kiss, and The Thinker.  Most of Rodin's major works are housed in the Musee Rodin, which is within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.

A better bet for family sightseeing, however, is the sculpture garden that surrounds the Museum: a lovely spot, dotted with huge sculptures, the air sweet with roses. For a small charge, the sculpture garden can be visited separately from the Museum; and kids under 18 are free. (Check current visitor info at Rodin Museum site.)
