Harry Potter Theme Park - Tips for Visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

During our visit in late August, the Islands of Adventure theme park closed at 8 pm. (In higher attendance periods, the parks will stay open later, and night visits to theme parks are highly recommended.)

Still, the 8 pm closing did give us the chance to be in the Harry Potter theme park area at dusk. The crowds were gone, my son rode the Dragon Challenge Coasters umpteen times in a row, Honeydukes and the other shops looked cozy, with lights on inside. And Hogwarts Castle, high on its perch and illuminated within, looked magical.

A great way to end the day.
