"A gaming paradise in the center of New York City": do those words sound a call to your kids?
This store has a prime Manhattan location: 10 Rockefeller Plaza (near iconic attractions such as the Rockefeller Center ice rink and Top of the Rock.) Besides the chance to buy merchandise not found at any other store, the place serves up a bunch of interactive experiences, with a multi-player gaming wall, game kiosks, and a surround-sound gaming lounge.*
You can expect to try out whatever's latest and greatest, at Nintendo WORLD. For example, Nintendo's had a huge success with the Wii, an innovative gaming system where players do real-time physical actions that play out on the screen (like, swing your arm to play tennis.) At Nintendo WORLD, you can play on multiplayer Wii systems and try out the latest games.
And if that all sounds like last week's news, just check the Nintendo WORLD store for whatever's hot now. Meanwhile, some older favorites still have a place: Pokemon, for instance, can still be found on the second floor.
Expect to have a hard time extracting players from this gamer heaven.
