Definitely a teen-pleaser kind of place, the Hard Rock Cafe at Times Square opened in summer 2005. The trademark of all Hard Rock Cafe's is rock music memorabilia, and whoever decorated this location pulled out all the stops: Beatles album covers signed by all the Fab Four; an elaborate jacket worn by Bob Dylan; James Brown's gold satin suit; Prince's princely outfit; Elvis' tuxedo, hand-written lyrics by Jimi Hendrix... and, above-- as the nameplate says-- Ringo Starr's drums.
New York has some other fun themed restaurants: Jekyl and Hyde Club; Mars 2112; and Ellen's Stardust Diner, with 50's memorabilia and singing wait-staff.
