Pools are such a focal point of a beach resort vacation these days, that often you'll find more people at the pool than at the beach.
Many Club Med resorts were built before the era of fancy free-form pools with slides and waterfalls; but who cares? This pool at Club Med Ixtapa Pacific is certainly a crowd-pleaser, especially during pool games a couple of times a day. Teens might play night-time pool polo, too.
Nice for families: plenty of shady beach umbrellas. Also, daybeds dot the deck area and are perfect for families with little kids.
