Club Med was the pioneer in the concept of "all inclusive" vacations, starting out in the fifties as a real-club tent-village on a Mediterranean beach. Much has changed as Club Med has worldscaled and upscaled to over 90 resorts in 40 countries, but still some core features remain the same. Such as:
- G.M.'s and G.O.'s: the most unique thing about Club Med is that instead of "staff", Club Med resorts have "Gracious Organizers" who mix with guests (and will soon be your kids' best friends)
- location: because of its early start in the resort game, Club Med often has the best spot on the beach
- signature features -- you'll se several in the following pages
- international clientele: you may hear French, Spanish, Portuguese... (less so at the resorts nearest to the US, of course.)
--continue to G.M.'s and G.O.'s...
