Quiet boutique resort just twenty minutes from the Cancun airport. Three pools, including one for kids; beach butlers. For babies, the resort provides strollers, cribs, in-room play-pens, bottle warmer, and lots of other gear. Azulitos kids program, for kids under five, was created with Fisher-Price, and has activities for babies 6 to 18 months, toddlers 18-36 months,and little kids three to five. (Kids under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.) Also: toy lending library, and kids club for ages 4 to 12.

This larger resort is on the same beach as Azul Beach Hotel, just twenty minutes from the airport near Puerto Morelos. Similar special treatment for babies and Azulitos kids programs for under-fives, as above. Also: activity center for kids two to three, with parents; kids club for ages 4 to 12; My Gym's Children Fitness Center, with rope course, trapeze, and more; Teen's Club; family activities. (Kids under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.)
3. Azul Fives Hotel by Karisma
In busy tourist town Playa del Carmen; all-suite property, with suites with up to three bedrooms and fully stocked kitchen; some units sleep eight; private rooftop decks for penthouse suites. "Largest pool in Playa Del Carmen"; upscale spa. Azulitos kid’s program, as above, Toy lending library, My Gym’s Children Fitness Center; kids club and activity center .
