1. Azul Beach Hotel by Karisma, Puerto Morelos

Quiet boutique resort just twenty minutes from the Cancun airport. Three pools, including one for kids; beach butlers. For babies, the resort provides strollers, cribs, in-room play-pens, bottle warmer, and lots of other gear. The Azulitos kids program, for kids under five, was created with Fisher-Price, and has activities for babies 6 to 18 months, toddlers 18-36 months,and little kids three to five. (Kids under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.) The resort also has a toy lending library, a kids club for ages 4 to 12, and swim-up suites.

This larger resort is on the same beach as Azul Beach Hotel, just twenty minutes from the airport near Puerto Morelos. Similar special treatment for babies and Azulitos kids programs for under-fives, as above. Also: activity center for kids two to three, with parents; kids club for ages 4 to 12; My Gym's Children Fitness Center, with rope course, trapeze, and more; Teen's Club; family activities. (Kids under 4 must be accompanied by an adult.)
