Background about Iberostar Tucan:

Iberostar is a Spanish company with many resorts worldwide, including several in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. The Iberostar Tucan is 3 km north of Playa del Carmen, 30 minutes south of the Cancun airport.

The Mayan Riviera is a terrific area for family vacations, with Mayan ruins, coral reef, snorkeling lagoons and unique "eco-theme parks" such as Xcaret and Xel-ha. Also in the Riviera Maya is Iberostar's 4-resort Playa Paraiso complex.

The Iberostar Tucan -- highly-rated by popular packager Apple Vacations-- has 350 rooms; 3/4 mile stretch of beach; a freeform pool complex; low-rise buildings with palapa roofs; and is oriented to kids and families. This property is part of a complex with Iberostar Quetzal, which also has 350 rooms.

Features at the Iberostar Tucan:
