Los Cabos -- in Baja California, on the west side of Mexico-- is a vacation hotspot with many all-inclusives that suit families. The area has two "Cabos" ("Capes") -- San Jose del Cabo, and (party-town) Cabo San Lucas-- connected by a 17-mile "Corridor" with resorts and golf courses. Los Cabos has fishing, whale-watching in winter, some good snorkeling, horseriding, and sightseeing in the artists' town of Todos Santos. Watch out, though: due to waves and undertows, few beaches are swimmable.
Dreams Los Cabos Resort and Spa
All-inclusive Dreams Los Cabos is part of AMResorts, which also has the all-inclusive Sunscape and Secrets brands. The resort is in "The Corridor", a 17-mile stretch of resorts and golf courses that connects the town of San Jose del Cabo with party-ville Cabo San Lucas.
Hilton Los Cabos Beach and Golf Resort
The Hilton Los Cabos has a swimmable beach in The Corridor area, infinity pool with ocean view and swim-up sushi bar; Vacation Station kids program. Note: this property is not an all-inclusive!
Melia Cabo Real Beach & Golf
The Melia Cabo Real is also in "The Corridor" between the two Cabos. As with the Hilton Los Cabos, a big plus with this property is its swimmable beach. Also: giant freeform pool, watersports including snorkeling, and kids program.
Riu Palace Cabo san Lucas
