London Sightseeing : intro, and boat tour

London Sightseeing - Thames boat tour
Previous | Next >>

Kings and queens, Mary Poppins, Oliver Twist, Platform 9-3/4... the minds of kids are full of snippets about London, which makes visiting in real life all the more fun.

Below you'll find top things to do for London Sightseeing, and happily, many are free.

Boat Trip on the Thames

Many tourist vessels ply the Thames. The one above has a top deck for viewing, and below-deck seating, with tables and snack bar; there are sportier models, and dinner outings... See choices for London Boat Tours.

You'll enjoy a full range of sights along the Thames, with commentary (sometimes humorous): Houses of Parliament, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Eye... Highly recommended, for London Sightseeing!

By the way: London Bridge-- which was falling down-- was moved to Arizona in 1962. Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum is also not on the list below: just my opinion, but why have a costly, artificial experience when you can visit a 1000-year-old Royal Fortress on the Thames...
