Location 50 miles from Albany, 210 miles from NYC. The Lodge and indoor waterpark is part of the Great Escape theme park that's across the street. The Great Escape is owned by Six Flags, a big name in theme parks in the US. Before purchase by Six Flags, The Great Escape was a storybook theme park, and still has many attractions for young kids. It also has wicked thrill rides, and an outdoor water park, Splashdown Kingdom. The theme parks close off-season but The Lodge will be open year-round, giving families a good reason to visit during wintertime. The 38,000 sq. ft. indoor waterpark is exclusively for guests.
