22 acres, pools, kids club, fish ponds, flamingos, hula classes, spa, restaurants, shops... Read more about Hilton Hawaiian Village" on Waikiki Beach.
Hilton Hawaiian Village has restored the "Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Lagoon", named for Hawaii's legendary surfer. The lagoon dates back to the early fifties, when an ocean-fed lagoon was created and enjoyed by many. Over time, however, the lagoon turned murky. Now it's re-done: 5 acres, with state-of-the-art water circulation, an island with waterfall, native-plant landscaping, and a boardwalk with benches. The lagoon is open to the public, and there's a (free) public parking close by.
