At the southwestern tip of Florida's Gulf Coast, Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, and is known for beautiful white-sand beaches. Location is thirty minutes south of Naples, Florida, and northeast of Everglades National Park. Visitors can reach the island by air or car.

Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort has a tropical style, a spa and a championship golf course, and a prime spot on three miles of white sand beach.

Features for families include:
  • Tiki Tribe kids club for ages five to twelve, with activities such as outdoor games, arts and crafts, shelling, scavenger hunts.
  • For teens: a game room with Wii and other systems. During holiday weeks, activities that appeal to teens are scheduled, such as a rock climbing wall and Guitar Hero competitions on the beach.
  • Complimentary family activities such as dive-in movies, family bingo, and sand castle building contests.
  • Multiple swimming pools, including one with waterslide and novelty features.
  • Zero-entry kiddie pool and a playground designed for toddlers.
  • Baby Butler program, with daily diaper delivery, crib or pack-n-play in-room, baby gift, amenities such as baby wipes and diaper cream, free meals for under-threes in certain restaurants, and a discount on rental items such as strollers and highchairs.*
  • Nanny service is available.
Activities available at the resort include hobie-cat sailing, kayaking, paddleboats, sunset cruises and sailing and shelling tours (which will probably offer glimpses of dolphins in the sea.) Guests can walk to nearby shops and restaurants.

Tip: families with strollers may want to request a ground-level lanai guestroom.
