The Atlantis is a well-known mega-resort in the Bahamas, and --with its 14-acre "waterscape", and distinctive pink Towers-- was already a mega-resort before expanding this year. New in 2005 is The Marina Village, with shops and restaurants built in pleasant Caribbean style near the resort's existing marina.
In addition, construction is already going full-speed on a major new addition that will add an upscale Tower to the Atlantis plus a major expansion of the waterpark.

The new Atlantis will have a 50-acre waterscape, a "Ziggurat" Temple with eight waterslides, a 2-kilometer river ride, and much more.
