Woodloch: Background

Woodloch Resort & Golf Community -- better known as "Woodloch Pines"-- is a four-season resort in the Poconos in Northeastern PA: 1 hour from Scranton PA, 3 hours from Phillie, and 2.5 hours from NYC.

Starting with 12 acres on Lake Teedyuskung in the fifties, with a lodge and two cottages, the resort has grown to 1000 acres and varied lodgings for 900; the same family still owns Woodloch, and it's the kind of place that gets 4th generation returning guests. The "Woodloch Springs" area of the resort wraps around a golf course and has a community where full-size houses can be rented.
