MagiQuest

Kids love fantasy-type computer games, and now they can step right into that kind of fantasy world at a new kind of family attraction called MagiQuest.

Families can play MagiQuest at various locations: at popular vacation spot, Myrtle Beach, for instance; or at Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park resorts.

Elements of MagiQuest

Some elements of MagiQuest are like fantasy-genre video games. Players pick Quests and Adventures; encounter characters and creatures; accumulate special powers; rise to higher levels where difficulty increases. There are Clans, Magi, Quests, Runes... the vocabulary that fantasy-players love.

Key to the experience is the player's Wand, whose special technology can triggers special effects, such as causing a magic crystal to glow, or opening a treasure box. The Wand stores info, too: players can come back later and resume the game where they left off.

Where to Play MagiQuest

At Myrtle Beach, MagiQuest is played in a 20,000 sq. ft. area packed with special effects. At Great Wolf Lodge Indoor Water Park Resorts, players move through the resort seeking the next items in their adventures.

MagiQuest is expanding; find more locations at the MagiQuest site.
