The town of Killington Vermont has a new thing going on: hay bale creations that can be spotted in fields along certain roads. They'll last at least until the first snowfall in December. Our Guide for New England Travel has photos.

A Fun weekend getaway: little kids love to pick out their own pumpkin. Many pumpkin patches also offer a corn maze, hay rides, petting farm, or other fun for families.
