Orlando: Christian Music and other special events

Disney World for Fall Vacations

If you're not in the mood for Mother Nature this fall, how about Uncle Walt instead? The period between Labor Day and Thanksgiving is one of the best times to visit the Disney Parks, in terms of crowds and temperature. Another plus, for gourmet-type parents, is the International Food and Wine Festival in the Epcot theme park, that takes place in October and early November every year; and if you need a couple of hours away from the kids to enjoy all that sipping and dining, remember that several Disney World resorts (-- the luxury resots-- ) have kids' clubs.

Orlando Christian Music bash(es)
Another fall event at Disney World takes place in early September, at the Magic Kingdom: the annual Night of Joy-- actually two nights-- with top Christian music artists in many styles. Meanwhile, at Universal Orlando, Rock The Universe has top Christian talent too, on similar dates. You'll need special admissions for both these events; About's Guide to Florida has more about Night of Joy and Rock the Universe.
