Fall Travel Ideas: Caribbean

Boscobel Beach pool.

Bargain "summer rates" for Caribbean resorts continue right through fall and into December, and offer a great chance to sample a resort's amenities, fancy swimming pools, and beach at bargain rates. Parents of preschoolers especially appreciate those resorts with programs for toddlers, or infant care; one all-inclusive even gives each family their own "vacation nanny" during their stay.

Beaches Single Parents Month
The popular family resort chain, Beaches, is an all-inclusive with multiple kids' programs including infant care. Aug. 15 to October 31 are "Single Parents Months": the "Single Supplement" is waived, which means a nice price break and also a chance to meet other single parents at several special events.
