Bargain "summer rates" for Caribbean resorts continue right into December, and offer a great chance to sample a resort's amenities, fancy swimming pools, and beach at bargain rates. Parents of preschoolers especially appreciate those resorts with programs for toddlers, or infant care; one all-inclusive even gives each family their own "vacation nanny" during their stay.

Beaches Single Parents Month
The popular family resort chain, Beaches, is an all-inclusive with multiple kids' programs including toddler age, and infant care. Every year, Aug 15 to October 31 are "Single Parents Months": the usual "Single Supplement" is waived, which means a nice price break and also a chance to meet other single parents at cocktail parties and other special events.
