This busy work site will become the mythical village of Serka Zong, a Himalayan hamlet with a hotel, internet cafe, and trekking supply store.
Imagineers made many trips to Nepal and other Himalayan areas to research the details and spirit of that part of the world, and also to listen to stories about the Yeti.
A documentary on Discovery Channel will follow the Disney Imagineers to the Himalayas along with researchers from partner organization Conservation International, who are studying this fragile zone.
