Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

October's turned into a full festive season, with events at zoos and haunted houses and childrens' museums, and theme parks especially have gotten into the act. Families can find Disney Halloween fun -- parties, fireworks, and special events -- at Disney World in Orlando and at Disneylands around the world.

At Disney World, the main Halloween event is "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party": a separate-ticket event held on multiple evenings in October and September in the Magic Kingdom theme park (which is just just one of four giant theme parks at Disney World.) These special "parties" are a terrific way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom: there's a festive atmosphere, special themed events, and the luxury of riding popular attractions with no line-ups or crowds.
