Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

October's turned into a full festive season, with events at zoos and haunted houses and childrens' museums; and theme parks especially have gotten into the act. Families can find Disney Halloween fun -- parties, fireworks, and special events -- at Disney World in Orlando, and at Disneylands around the world.

At Disney World, "Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party" is the main event: a separate-ticket event held on multiple evenings in October and September in the Magic Kingdom theme park (just one of four giant theme parks at Disney World.) These special "parties" are a terrific way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom: there's a festive atmosphere, special themed events, and the luxury of riding popular attractions with no line-ups or crowds.
