Haven't been to Disney World in a while? Disney has been rolling out a new ticketing process called MyMagic+, which will eventually replace the old system completely.

MyMagic+ revolutionizes the Disney World vacation by bundling nearly every aspect of your trip together. Instead of a ticket, you get a MagicBand, a rubber bracelet containing a computer chip that holds all the components of your Disney World vacation—theme park ticket, room key, FastPass, dining reservations, PhotoPass—and it also acts as a resort charge card.

For the moment, guests at Disney Resorts can make advance plans with MyMagic+ and park goers who are not staying at a Disney Resort can make same-day plans with MyMagic+. Eventually all Disney guests will be able to make advance plans with MyMagic+.
