Family Travel - Disney Deals

Guests who take an Adventures By Disney "family adventure" (an all-details handled kind of holiday, with itineraries in Europe, Australia, Costa Rica, Wyoming, Mid-Atlantic, and more) -will get a free three-night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. Sweet. Book by 1/15/10.

It's been a good year, for promotions at Disney World. No sooner is the Free Dining Plan deal over, than along comes a promotion for travel November 2009 through March 2010: "Get Three Free When You Buy Four". Packages include stays at Disney World resorts plus theme park tix.

Guests at all Disney World resorts get nice perks such as Magical Express airport shuttle, Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks, Disney bus system.

Disney World is giving guests a birthday present, all through 2009. The Mouse wants you to have a "celebration vacation", starting with free admission for the birthday girl or boy. (Don't forget that valid ID!) And presumably you'll be celebrating with a gang of family and friends, so the Mouse is happy and so are you. (Read more about Disney World vacations.)

This great deal runs every year on Alaska Airlines, from January into June. Basically, one child (age 2 to 11) flies free per one accompanying adult to a number of Southern California airports. Packages include lodgings at a Disneyland "Good Neighbor Hotel", park passes, and some extras too.

Disney Cruises are known for excellent kids' programs, and for live shows and entertainment with pizzazz; private island Castaway Cay isn't too shabby either. Kids under three are a bargain because they're free, unless you want to sign up for infant care Flounder's Nursery. (The other kids programs are included services.)

Kids age 17 and under can sail free on most 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises from January 7 through April 15, 2010 and on select Mediterranean cruises from April 24 through May 26, 2010 (when traveling with 2 full-fare guests in the same stateroom). Government taxes and fees are extra.
