Back for 2009: Book by March 18 2009 -- (UPDATE: date extended), for travel between Jan. 7 until June 17 2009 (with some blackout dates).
Good news for 2009 is that -- for at least part of this promotion period-- families can also score with a "Everyone Gets In For the Kids Price" promotion at Disneyland.
Kids Fly Free
Basically, with this deal at Alaska Airlines, one child flies free per one accompanying adult-- note that a "child" is age 2 to 11-- to a number of Southern California airports.
Book at the Alaska Airlines site: a sample Disneyland Package includes four nights (for price of three) at the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort; kids 12 and under eat lunch and dinner free from the kids' menu (with the purchase of one adult entrée, and limit of one child per paying adult).
Package also includes a Park Hopper ticket for one child and one adult that takes advantage of the "Everyone Plays for the Kids Price" promotion at Disneyland.

Add a Value Season package at Quality Inn & Suites ( a Disneyland Resort "Good Neighbor Hotel"); this package comes with perks such as collectible souvenir theme park tickets, and a phone call from a Disney character.
Note: this package must be booked by April 26, 2009, for travel dates from January 6 through April 30, 2009.
