The upscale Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, and regularly scores the prestigious AAA Five-Diamond Award. Location is near the northern tip of the 25-km Cancun Hotel Zone, with many restaurants and shops nearby.
Fiesta Americana is a brand of the Grupo Posadas, one of the largest hotel companies in Mexico.
This property has over 600 rooms and suites, an executive floor, and multiple restaurants. (Note that in hotel parlance, a "junior suite" means one room with a division into two areas.) The Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach has 1000 ft of white sand beach sheltered by a coral reef.

Beach: Due to hurricanes, erosion, and reconstruction, the condition of Cancun beaches is changeable; always check current conditions --see how, below. At time of writing, visitors remark that the beach at the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach is excellent. (This, at a time when many Cancun beaches are in poor condition due to hurricanes.)
This resort has three pools, including a 600' multilevel meandering lagoon pool, with waterfalls; kids' pool, too; and swim-up bars.
Nice touches: guests remark on nice linens, robes, etc., twice-daily housekeeping, and like that waiters passed out complimentary fresh fruit at the beach.
For families:
- kids club for ages four to twelve
- check for promotions, such as kids under 12 eat free (from kids menu, when with a paying adult)
Keep in mind about Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach:
