With the huge rise of Halloween events at all family-friendly attractions from zoos to theme parks to tourist trains, October has become an excellent month for family getaways, and a lively extended season for family-friendly tourist attractions.
Montreal is a great place for families to visit, with plenty of fun things to do including some extra events during October. The Botanical Gardens, located right near the popular Biodome attraction has two seasonal events throughout the month: The Magic of Lanterns, and The Great Pumpkin Ball and other Halloween activities.
