For beach-lovers, the "Treasure Coast" is a 20-minute drive away. Families can also take day tours to Disney World or Kennedy Space Center.

Background about Club Med
Club Med started in the fifties as real club, and though it's upscaled and world-scaled since its early days as a tent-village on a Mediterranean beach, even today Club Med villages have G.M.'s and G.O.'s. G.M.'s are the guests ("gracious members"); and G.O.'s are the staff ("gracious organizers.") G.O.'s are one of the best features of Club Med for kids and teens: these out-going young people run their programs with enthusiasm; they are highly visible on the property even when not working and kids love to meet the G.O.'s they know from the kids club, or join them at a meal Club-Med style. G.O.'s are certain to reach out to teens and invite them to activities. (Read more about G.O.'s.)
Features at Club Med Sandpiper Bay
The Fitness Academy is for grown-ups, and for kids as young as four years old. Junior Fit programs use a team approach. Guests can also enjoy yoga, a fitness room, and spa treatments.
The Club Med Golf Academy offers training for all levels. The resort is home to an 18-hole golf course, a Tom Fazio II designed practice facility, a putting green, clubhouse, and driving range. Guests can take free group lessons (and kids get initiation sessions during their kids' programs, Petit Golf for the 4 to 7 year olds, and Junior Golf for the 8 to 13 year olds.)
Tennis Academy programs include Le Petit Tennis for 4 to 7 years old, Junior Tennis Initiation for ages 8 to 13, and an all inclusive Adults Program for different levels.
