"Beaches" is the well-known family brand of the Sandals chain of all inclusive resorts. Jamaica has several Beaches properties, including Beaches Negril on the famous 7-mile Negril beach in the northwest of the island. Beaches Sandy Bay is located in the same area, and has 1,000 feet of shore on Negril beach.
Beaches Resorts have many features for families, including:
- Kids programs for different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and teens
- A partnership with Sesame Street that includes character appearances at the resorts, stage shows, story-time with Elmo, cookie-making with Cookie Monster, and more.
- State-of-the-art game center

Beaches Sandy Bay is the "value" option in the Beaches group, and is a smaller more intimate-style resort than the better-known properties. Families staying at Beaches Sandy Bay have guest privileges at nearby Beaches Negril. ("Value" at Beaches Sandy Bay is relative to prices at other Beaches properties; families may find the price higher than at other places suggested here. Look for seasonal discounts!)
