The Westin St. John is on St. John island, in the US Virgin Islands: three-quarters of St. John is a National Park (land and marine.) The resort's guests fly to St. Thomas airport; luggage is handled while guests proceed to a Westin boat and onward to the resort.

On-site activities are many, and also the resort is a great launching pad for exploring the land and sea beauties of St. John.

Most guests at the Westin St. John take outings, either by signing up for tours or snorkeling trips, or by exploring on their own by rental jeep (-rental is convenient, right at the resort.) For example: Trunk Bay, pictured above, is part of the Virgin Islands National Park, and a fine place to snorkel, with an underwater "snorkeling trail."
