The Oasis Waterpark

Pointe South Mountain Resort, Phoenix

Photos (continued from review of Oasis Waterpark)

Oasis Waterpark
View of Slide Canyon (the waterslides tower) beyond the Oasis waterpark's wave pool.
  • The Oasis Waterpark has a dozen lifeguards, so parents of older kids can relax while kids play
  • In peak months-- March, June, July and August-- the Oasis waterpark is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (check web site for updates.)

The wave pool just before  the waves  start up... as they do at ten minute intervals. Oasis waterpark: wave pool

The winding Zuni Active River floats through red-rock canyons. You'll get squirted by arcs of water along the way. Oasis Waterpark: river float

This Side-winder Slide is 300-ft., just exciting enough.

For those who dare: the Road-runner slide starts level and then has a 67-ft.  drop...

The Free Fall slide, on the right, has a wicked hump that sends your stomach skyward.

Minimum height to slide: 48", strictly enforced.
