Quebec Hilton |

Where to stay, when visiting the Quebec Winter Carnival? The Quebec Carnival site has suggestions, including Winter Experience Packages at the Quebec Hilton and Chateau Frontenac. The Chateau Frontenac is a historic hotel that grandly overlooks the Lower Town area of Old Quebec and the icy St. Laurence river.
The Quebec Hilton, meanwhile, is a good spot for families for several reasons.
- Location is a five-to-ten-minute walk from many places you'll want to do, such as: Old Quebec; family-friendly food sources including McDonalds and a grocery store; Place Hydro Quebec, a venue for the Quebec Carnival with skating, music, old-time booths; the Ice Palace at Place Loto-Quebec; and the main Quebec Carnival site at Place Desjardins on the Plains of Abraham.
Also convenient for families: you'll find a food-court in the mall underneath the Hotel.
Finally, price is reasonable, with special Quebec Carnival packages for as low as $139/room/night. (Call 418-647-2411 or 1-800-HILTONS.)
