Overnight guests don't tend to lounge around the Ice Hotel during daytime, but rather head off to cross-country skiing, dog-sledding, ice-fishing, snowmobiling, etc. in the surrounding Duchesnay region. Or they may seek warmth in the on-site Auberge restaurant.

Meanwhile, during daytime the Ice Hotel plays host to many visitors, either arriving with tours from Quebec City, or on their own. Adults can visit for $12, kids for $7-- see current rates.)
