Quebec Winter Carnival - photos

photos of the Quebec Winter Carnival 2004 - snow sculptures

The main venue for the Quebec Winter Carnival is Place Desjardins, located on the Plains of Abraham. Snow sculptures are a highlight of the Quebec Carnival.*

You might even see snow sculptors hard at work...

Visitors can enjoy the sculptures by day or night... Once you purchase your Quebec Carnival admission ticket-- a small "effigy" of snowman Bonhomme, bought for a mere $7CDN-- you can enter any of the Carnival venues as often as you like.

Also in the frozen sculpture department are ice scuptures: such as this sculpture of Bonhomme, the personification of the Quebec Carnival.
