The Rose Hall Great House was in a decrepit state when bought by Americans John and Michele Rollins in 1965. The Rollins spent millions restoring the Great House, and adding the antique furnishings of the day.

Life was lived in the lap of luxury within the Great House walls (above.) Below is one of the three bedrooms in which Annie Palmer is said to have murdered her husbands one, two, and three. Multiple murderess, voodoo practitioner, sadistic plantation mistress-- with a story like this, it's no wonder that Annie Palmer's is said to still haunt the place, as the ghost and "White Witch of Rose Hall".
