St. Pete Pier
In St. Petersburg, just past the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Pete's Pier juts out a mile from the waterfront.
Kids will have fun before they even get inside the Pier's unique inverted pyramid: you can feed the pelicans at the funky Pier Boathouse.
Inside the Pier building is the Aquarium, shops, restaurants, and more. The Pier has plenty of fun events, live music -- check the web site for what's happening. The Pier is also the jumping-off point for excursions such as Duck Tours and catamaran trips.
