The Spring Break in the school year usually lasts ten days, and dates vary in different parts of the country. That's the reason you find blackouts for discount fares to Florida for an entire month, mid-March to mid-April. On the plus side, not all families are crowding into Disney World during the exact same week.
Families with school-age kids might also take a mini-vacation at Easter, which is often a four-day weekend.
