Grand Oasis Cancun

The Grand Oasis is in the center of Cancun's Hotel Zone, about 25 minutes away from the airport . The Oasis Hotels chain has a number of resorts in Cancun and the Mayan Riviera.

Grand Oasis Cancun: Features

This large hotel has a pyramid-shaped tower, more than 700 guestrooms, 17 restaurants, and a quarter-mile of interlocking pools that meanders through tropical landscaping. Guests compliment the lovely grounds.

For golfers: this resort has a complimentary par-three 9-hole golf course.

Guests will also find the daily activities, night-time entertainment, and non-motorized watersports typical of all-inclusive resorts. Watersports include kayaks, paddleboats, surfboards.

Note that beach conditions in Cancun are changeable, due to hurricanes, erosion, and reconstruction; always check current conditions ( - see how, below.)

For families: At time of writing, it appears that this resort has no kids club Meanwhile, the Oasis Palm Beach, also in Cancun, does have a kids club.

Nonetheless kids are welcome at this resort; look for promotions such as Kids Stay and Eat Free. ("Kids" meaning age 12 and under.) Single parents should also look for special rates.

Keep in Mind about the Grand Oasis Cancun

  • this resort has more than one type of plan. "Grand all-inclusive plan" confers special perks, such as special restaurants, special rooms, and room service. Guests also report that a black wristband gets butler service at the beach, and more comfortable chairs as well.
  • beach: waves can be rough.
  • pools can get crowded
