Beaches Negril is part of the popular Sandals chain of all-inclusives for couples; the Beaches brand of properties are specifically designed for families.
Beaches Negril Resort & Spa has 1400 feet of shore on seven-mile Negril Beach, on the west side of Jamaica. This coast is more sheltered than the north side of the island. However, the trip from Montego Bay airport is longer: 81 km, which takes about an hour on a new road. Alternatively, you can hop on a short flight: some Beaches Negril promotions include this flight.
Beaches Negril features for families
- watersports include snorkeling trips, and scuba for ages 12 and up-- a great opportunity for teens to learn to scuba. (You may need to pay for an introductory class.)

- Kids Kamp serves three age groups including infants, and is open until 10:30 p.m. Sample activities for 4-7 year olds include Nature Walk, sand sculpting, rehearsing for a fashion show. Parents can view printed schedules and pick activities their kids will like.

- Teens have their own pizza bars, soda bar, and "nightclub" with karaoke; teen outings, dinners, games are organized too.
- Daily schedule includes family activities, themed by day. Sunday is Island Fantasy day, with water polo, reggae dance lessons.... Every day has some mix of nature walks, tennis clinics, aquacise, beach volleyball, etc.
- Feeding kids is made easy with ice-cream stand; kids' corner at the main buffet restaurant; pizza bar, etc.
